With food deserts on the rise in Indy by 21% since 2016, alternatives to the typical grocery store experience are necessary to promote healthier lifestyles for those affected.
Cornucopia Foodshare is a brand and app created to provide that alternative, with neighbors listing their garden produce and home cooked meals, available for people right in their neighborhood.

The logo references the traditional object of an overflowing cornucopia, but simplifies the shapes in order to modernize it and solidify it’s relivancy within the brand.
The produce is personified in the social media characters (tomato, banana, and cucumber) to lend to the brand’s approachable image, acting as an answer to the question “Who do you get your produce from?”
The Cornucopia app is the main product of the brand, and the call to action for much of the advertising. It’s main functions include:
Listing of one’s food products such as fresh produce and home-cooked meals
Viewing other listings in the area
Sorting listings by category (food type, location, user)
Map of surrounding area with listings indicated
User profile customization
In-app messaging between users
